2016 has been an interesting year for me. My photography career has taken me on a path of comfort to one where I am pushing the envelope to create better images.  As a sports photographer, I never imagined I would start down a new path creating interesting and compelling food, nature and wedding images. Look where I am today.

The bonus is that I still have that “spark” that makes me want to learn new techniques and visualize new ways to make ordinary scenes look different.  And the people I meet are an added gift. Often, as a photographer, our interaction is with our camera, the images we’re shooting. But now I get to enjoy meeting and working with new and always interesting and creative people – both my clients and my photo subjects.

Yes, you still do have that “spark.”
