Biography: Photography has always been my passion and my hope is this transfers into every image I make.
My style is based on the documentary approach which means when life happens in front of me, I do my best to capture the essential moments of it with my cameras.
As a photojournalist, I have worked at the Tampa Tribune and the St. Petersburg Times (now, Tampa Bay Times). During my career, I have been able to hone my skills as a photographer with different types of photography assignments and the always present deadline. Whether my work took me overseas, into a sports arena, a family gathering, grand opening or special event, I learned from each experience. An important thing that has stayed with me is my ability to listen and let folks/clients tell me what kind of photos they want but not me telling them what I want to do. This has worked especially well with my wedding, special event, family gatherings and corporate work. I spend time to listen to you and hear what kind of photos you want.
Born in Cleveland, Ohio, I was raised in a close-knit family in a nearby suburb named North Olmsted. From Kent State University, I hold a bachelor’s degree in photojournalism. I also have two wonderful children – a grown daughter and son. When I am not working, I enjoy traveling and sharing time with my family and friends in the Florida outdoors.
Mission statement: As a business owner, I enjoy helping people tell their stories with my cameras. I make both still and video images.
