15 Favorites of 2015

1937 Cadillac Touring Sedan Hood Ornament - Photo by Bill Serne Photography

The year 2015 was an interesting one for me photographically. I saw challenges I had never seen before, and because of that, was able to learn even more about the craft I love.  I continue to see my work progress in a different way.  In my mind I know what the end result will or should be, but as I am creating I see new ways to alter the path to the images I am seeking.

I am proud to say that I am seeing light for what it is and what it can do within an image.  In the past I sometimes took this for granted, not fully realizing how I can take advantage of it to produce unique images.

I always say that you’re never too old or too far into your career to learn, and that was true again this year. I hope that you, in your career, hobby, and life, experience this as well.

So, here I’ve given you my favorite 15 images from 2015 and am looking forward to 2016 with creative energy and the chances to push my photographic envelope even more.

I hope you’ve enjoyed looking at these images as much as I did when creating them.  Happy New Year!
